What 2020 taught me

What did 2020 teach me?

Wow what an amazing question. Usually we are looking forward, setting goals, and dreaming about the new year, but taking a look back at 2020 is a great idea. Thank you, Cindy, for coming up with such a terrific topic to discuss.

We all have personal stories of WHAT happened in 2020, but what did I learn?

2020 taught me to question EVERYTHING. Nothing seemed to be making sense and being a skeptical person, I wanted to find out why and I believe that I found that out through hundreds of hours of research. I just wanted the truth. I would encourage you to do your own research if things aren't making sense to you.

2020 taught me that we must ask God in faith for WISDOM….. wisdom is a God given and God centered discernment regarding the practical issues of life. "a double minded man is unstable in all his ways". James.1:5-8

2020 taught me that we were not made to social distance. He built us to befriend one another and care for one another and ultimately to fellowship with Him. If you read the book of Philippians in the Bible it encourages us to live out our lives in commitment to God and one another. Give that book a read.

In closing The ultimate TRUTH is Jesus Himself. John 14:6 “Jesus said unto him, ‘I am the way and the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father except through me’”. If you don’t have a relationship with God you can through his son Jesus who died for your sins on the cross and raised from the dead to conquer sin and death. Pray to him and confess that you are a sinner and tell him you receive his free gift of salvation, Then You can know for sure that you are bound for heaven and eternity with Him who loves you so much. John 3:16. “For God so loved the world that he gave his only son that whoever believes in Him should not parish, but have everlasting life.”

Cheers, Molly
